This program has been designed in accordance with Florida state regulations and requirements to obtain the Barber License.

As a licensed barber, you may also have the flexibility to create your own schedule by being self-employed or running your own business. Many self-employed barbers travel with their equipment or rent out a space to service their clients. If you want specific clientele, you may even open your own barbershop.

The student will receive instructions in the following areas: chemical waving and relaxing, hair shaping, beard trimming, mustache trimming, hair and scalp treatment, hair coloring, shampoo and rinse, hair setting, and hair removal and facial hair shaping and removal.

After completing the necessary credit hours and services, students will receive a Diploma attesting that they have successfully completed the course and will be registered with the State as a Barber.
